
Booking Terms & Cancellation Policies
Kilima Wild Safaris is committed to delivering exceptional travel experiences. To maintain service integrity and quality, we reserve the right to decline any booking at our sole discretion. All reservations are subject to full compliance with the terms outlined below.
Booking & payment terms
1. Deposit Requirement:

For road safari tours, a deposit of 30% of the total invoice is required at the time of booking to initiate the confirmation process for your itinerary. The remaining 70% must be settled at the time of arrival when our team member meets you in person.

For flying safari tours, a deposit of 55% of the total invoice is required at the time of booking to initiate the confirmation process for your itinerary. The remaining 45% must be settled at the time of arrival when our team member meets you in person.

For only 4x4 vehicle hire with a guide without accommodation, a deposit of 20% of the total invoice is required at the time of booking to initiate the confirmation process for your itinerary. The remaining 80% must be settled at the time of arrival when our team member meets you in person.

Last-Minute Bookings: For reservations made within 15 days of arrival for any safari tours or vehicle hire, 70% of invoice amount must be paid within 3 days of the booking date.
2. Currency & Payment Methods:

All rates are quoted in US Dollars or Euros, and payments can be made in either in US dollars, Euros or Kenyan Shillings.

Rate Adjustments: While we aim to honor agreed-upon rates, Kilima Wild Safaris reserves the right to adjust pricing and terms due to external factors beyond our control — such as fluctuations in fuel costs, exchange rates, government taxes, concession fees, or service levies.

We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card, or Pesapal.
3. Cancellation & Refund policies

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to: info@kilimawildsafaris.com

Refund amount is stated below based on the cancellation request made from the start of the date of the itinerary.

More than 60 days: Full deposit refunded

Between 60 and 45 days: 50% of the deposit refunded

Less than 30 days: No refund available

4. Refund Processing
Refunds are initiated within 1–7 business days of receiving a valid cancellation request. Please allow us a few working days for the refund to be reflected in your bank account or credit card statement, depending on your payment method and financial institution.
