Mara Photography Safari

• Depart Nairobi from your hotel in the morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley en route to the Masai Mara.

• Arrive at your camp in time for lunch and check-in.

• In the late afternoon, head out for your first game drive. The soft evening light sets the stage for incredible photography opportunities — elephants dust bathing, lions stretching awake, and birds silhouetted against the setting sun.

• Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

• Each day begins with a sunrise game drive — the golden hour perfect for capturing predator activity and dramatic landscapes. Enjoy your packed breakfast in the bush.

• Return to camp for lunch and enjoy downtime to review photos or rest.

• After lunch, head back out for another game drive focused on framing wildlife in the soft, late-afternoon light.

• Opportunities abound to photograph big cats, wildebeest herds, giraffes, and dramatic Mara skies.

• Return to camp each evening for dinner and photo-sharing by the campfire.

• Optional without Extra Cost: Full-day game drives can be arranged with packed meals to explore deeper parts of the reserve and follow migration paths or river crossings.

• Optional with Extra Cost: On one of these six full days in Masai Mara , if you would like to enjoy an early morning hot air balloon ride we can arrange this at an extra cost per person for your group or you. Later on, have a wonderful bush breakfast upon landing and then return to lodge for lunch. Head for a late afternoon game drive until sunset after lunch.

• Spend your last full day either on a final full-day drive or with one last morning and afternoon game drive.

• This is your chance to revisit favorite scenes or chase specific sightings you may have missed.

• Evening at camp with a farewell dinner and time to reflect on your photographic journey.

Optional Extra: Enjoy an early morning hot air balloon ride followed by a bush breakfast , continue gamed drive until noon. Return to lodge for lunch. Head for an afternoon game drive until sunset after lunch.

• After a relaxed breakfast, check out and begin the drive back to Nairobi.

• Arrive in the afternoon, marking the end of a wildlife-filled photography adventure.

Optional cultural photography without extra cost: If you want to visit a traditional Maasai village to immerse in their vibrant culture, learn about their customs, and witness a captivating Maasai dance, we can do so on this day. It is included in your itinerary and it is completely up to you if you want to choose this option.
