In the afternoon, set out for your first game drive in Samburu. Explore the reserve’s rugged terrain and dry riverbeds in search of wildlife unique to this region—like the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and Gerenuk—collectively known as the “Samburu Special Five.”
Return to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full day experience in Samburu
You will spend the full day exploring Samburu National Reserve. You can choose from either of the following plans:

Visit multiple habitats, from riverine forests to acacia-dotted plains. Return to the lodge or camp by 5:30 PM for dinner and overnight.
Plan B: Begin with a sunrise game drive at 6:30 AM to catch early predators and grazing herbivores in action. Return to camp for a relaxed breakfast at 9:30 AM and enjoy leisure time until lunch. In the afternoon, depart for another game drive at 3:30 PM to explore different parts of the reserve and spot wildlife under the golden Samburu light. Return to the lodge or camp by 6:30 PM for dinner and overnight stay.
Optional without Any Extra: After your morning game drive, you may choose to visit a local Samburu village (manyatta) for a cultural experience.
